Leyendo en Génesis acerca de la historia de Abraham-Isaac he encontrado muchas veces ensenansas que me han cautivado mas allá de una simple percepción de: Es interesante.
Con anterioridad he experimentado que nuestra vida como creyentes puede tener paralelos asombrosos con las etapas de la vida de Abraham. Incluso el famoso capitulo 22 acerca de la petición de Dios a Abraham de sacrificar lo que tanto amaba y que además representaba el cumplimiento viviente de las promesas que Dios le había hecho. Sin embargo pocas veces he escuchado hablar de las actitudes y posibles emociones, así como pensamientos pasando por cuerpo y alma de Isaac. No solo resulta interesante considerar la obediencia y buena actitud del jovencito, también durante mi ultima lectura pude notar que solo unos versículos adelante es bendecido enormemente con una mujer( Rebeca) la cual le es dad por esposa y cuya aparición en la historia parece una respuesta a la oración de un ciervo apelando al favor del Señor para con Abram, sin embargo creo hay algo mas, estoy seguro que Dios ha visto el corazón del hijo de la promesa el cual ha sido encontrado obediente y lleno de carácter. No encontramos evidencias de una vida sino de rectitud y lealtad en el. Solo hay una excepción el capitulo 26 donde comete el mismo error que su padre al recurrir a la mentira por causa de sus temores; sin embargo no cometió el error mas de una vez como lo hizo su padre. El énfasis en mi lectura de hoy esta en como Isaac fue bendecido con una mujer Hermosa virtuosa y virgen gracias a su corazón obediente y aun valiente en los días de su adolescencia. Es maravilloso vivir las recompensas de Dios.
Reading in Genesis about the history of Abraham and Isaac, I have found that many times the teachings that have captivated me most can be summed up in the simple perception that: It's interesting.
Beforehand, I have noticed that in our life as believers we can have surprising parallels to the times in the life of Abraham. For example, the famous chapter 22 talks about God's petition to Abraham to sacrifice what he loved so much and even more what represented the living fulfillment of the promises that God had made. However, few times have I heard about the attitudes and possible emotions, and even the thoughts passing through Isaac's body and soul. It is not just interesting to consider the obedience and good attitude of the young man, but also during my last time reading through this part, I was impressed that just a few verses later he is blessed tremendously with a woman (Rebbecca), who was given to him as a wife and whose appearance in history comes as an answer to prayer of a servant pleading the favor of the Lord for Abraham. However I believe something more, I am sure that God had seen the heart of the son of the promise as being obedient and full of character. We find evidence that his live was full of righteousness and loyalty. There is only one exception in chapter 26 when he made the same error as his father, lying because of his fears. However he didn't make that mistake more than once, unlike his father. The emphasis in my thoughts for today is how Isaac was blessed with a beautiful and virtuous virgin woman, thanks to his obedient and valiant heart in the days of his adolescence. It is marvelous to live with the rewards from God.
